Working with incredible organisations
I enjoy working with organisations who are making a difference. Over the last 18 years I have built up an extensive portfolio of marketing and communications work with public, private and non-profit organisations. Here's some of my latest work:
Hillary Outdoors offers young New Zealanders the life-changing opportunity to experience challenge and adventure in the outdoors.
I am supporting the fundraising and communications work of Hillary Outdoors as they work to expand capacity and develop a new centre at Kinloch, Lake Taupō.
Miraka is milk, produced the way it should be. This Taupō based dairy producer is showing the sector that sustainable farming is not only possible, it’s profitable!
I am helping Miraka tell their story both internally and externally, to create industry-wide change in sustainable dairy practices.
I am proud to support the work of Outward Bound, whose life-changing courses help create better people, better communities, and a better world.
I have completed a website refresh, online advertising strategy, and three Annual Reports for this fantastic organisation.
FOREST & BIRD
Forest & Bird is one of New Zealand's most experienced independent environmental advocacy organisations, with a long history of protection and restoration of our wild places.
I enjoyed the opportunity to help this organisation complete a brand strategy and guidelines refresh.
Freelancing writing is a great pleasure, particularly when it’s for a magazine that actively promotes getting into New Zealand’s outdoors.
I wrote a two-page spread about taking my young daughter on an overnight tramp. The article was published in the print edition, and online (see link below).
This Taupō organisation is working to restore and protect some of New Zealand's most iconic landscapes across the central plateau.
I developed a video script and strategy to help the team promote their work to potential donors and new volunteers.
I am also the Chair of Predator Free Taupō.
taupo district Council
I managed several key communications projects at Taupō District Council.
Highlights included promotion and collateral for a $4.5m exhibition of national significance, compiling the Annual Report, and the redevelopment of Otumuheke Hot Stream, a taonga for local iwi.
Bellyful provides meals for families with newborn babies or young children struggling with illness. I have personally experienced the comfort and support their meals bring at a time when its needed most.
It was a real privilege to create a case study for the national organisation, and a fundraising media release for the launch of the Taupō branch.
Keen to take that next step?
